Editor upload and uploadMany examples not working

The examples showing the upload and uploadMany feature are not working. I am trying to implement this feature in my app but I cannot find a good example of what is returned from the server. I did see an example of what is returned here: https://editor.datatables.net/manual/server#Upload, but I need something a bit more interactive. Like what does that JSON string look like when doing an uploadMany? Where/how are the 'IDs' generated?
