Will you be replacing Moment?

The Moment project status at https://momentjs.com/docs/ recommends using another date processor. Do you have any plans to do so, and if so what will you replace it with?

I don't think they recommend replacing Moment, but rather that they consider it "Finished". All new development will be going in Luxon.

We'll be continuing to support Moment, and going forward will treat Luxon the same way as we currently treat Moment (i.e. both will be equally supported). Work in that area can already be seen in our DateTime library which fully supports Luxon.

I'll be updating sorting / rendering plug-ins in with Luxon support in due course.

    Regards,
    Allan

Thanks Allan. I must apologise though; I had thought Data tables had a dependency on Moment, but it is another component I use that does (vis timeline).
