Get current filter / search?

Hello - Is there any method for retrieving the current filter(s)? I have built custom controls for fnFilter on multiple column and now I'd like to create a way for users to see what their current filtering is. I looked in fnSettings but I couldn't find the current filter. Any ideas?

fnSettings().oSearch.sSearch will give you it :-)

I'm in the process of properly documenting the settings object at the moment...!
