Guys,
Just wanted to know if the hide and show of a column for a record is possible with the JavaScript array feature?
If so I wanted to know if there was a sample I can take a look at. Or just point me in the right direction.

Do you mean show and hide a row ( http://datatables.net/examples/api/row_details.html )? if so, then yes, this is possible with a Javascript array source, and the example above should give you a good starting point.
