Using DataTables and DataTables Editor together

Has anyone used DataTables and DataTables Editor together. I want to embed child row details using DataTables Editors in a standard DataTables. Want to do inline editing on child data.

Basically all of the Editor examples use DataTables and Editor together. Editor is fundamentally designed to be used with DataTables.

For the editing, do you mean something like this? Except with inline editing?
