Adding new Search fields

I have a datatable with over 8000 records. It show all orders the last 3 years.
Users are saying that they like it very much but they would like me to add 2 "searches/parameters"
From Date:
To Date:

I can do it outside but I have to reload the data each and everytime.

Can we add parameters before the Search field

Do you mean something like this example?

If so, you could readily change the search logic in it to operate on dates rather than numbers.

Looking really good but not working for me.

Finally I was able to make it work.

I have a last issue.
I have From Date to Date. I enter the dates and it show the data but here is the issue
I go back and clear the fields, but the datatable doesn't show any data anymore. I have to refresh the screen.

Any idea what I have to reset ?
