How to fix datatable duplication when clicking back or forward buttons ?

I am using HTMX to issue Ajax requests along with js datatables to display some data and it works fine. The issue arises when I navigate through history using the browser forward or back buttons.

I get a DataTables wrapper div nested in another DataTables wrapper div. The table is only displayed once, but the search box and pagination are displayed twice.

I'd be glad if you could help.
