Rowgroup omit group footer on certain conditions?

Hello everyone.
I'm usig Rowgroup extension, and I'm trying to not display a group footer on certain conditions. From the docs, in order to not display group footer, i can set the property endRender to null, but if I set the endRender to a function that in certain conditions return null, I get a "no group" footer.

Use the rowGroup.emptyDataGroup option to display nothing. Updated example:
