Datatables header column text alignment issues

Hi,

I have a datatable v2 with various columns but for some reason, some columns are right aligned instead of left aligned when the page loads.

In some cases, after the page is loaded, when the column is sorted (by pressing the column header), the column header and text will suddenly be right aligned from left aligned.

I notice it happens mostly when the data has numbers but I am unable to reliably reproduce it.

Is there any way to prevent the column headers and text from updating by itself so it's always aligned a specific way?

Also is there a way to specify the header and rows differently?

For example, have a header be set left aligned but row right aligned?

DataTables 2 will auto align numeric and date columns to the right. If you don't want that you can use:

DataTable.type('num', 'className', '');
