Is there a version of editor that works with dataTables 1.10.13?

I was going to test out older versions on the free trial but I can't download them without buying the license. I have no issue buying the license if there is a compatible older version but don't really want to buy it just to find out that it won't work. Upgrading to a newer version of DT is not an option at this point :-(

Thanks in advance to anyone who has an answer.

You'll need Editor 1.x for that old a version of DataTables. I've assigned a temporary v1 license to your account and you'll be able to download it from here to try it out and see what you think.

Out of interest, why not? 1.10.13 was released in 2016 and is no longer supported. Indeed, Editor 1.x is also no longer supported, so even if you were to purchase it, its support would be very limited.

Thanks Allan, that is much appreciated. We will check it out and if it works, will be buying the license.

To answer your follow up question, we started using datatables when it came along with the base code in the ASP.NET zero package that we used in our project when we started it about 5 or 6 years ago. As you are probably aware, they added some modifications to make it easier to make ajax calls in the format that the ABP code it's based on returned. The grid is heavily integrated into pretty much every aspect of this project which is in production now and being used by many customers in our SaaS offering.

We would love to upgrade datatables but we are small company and are concerned that the upgrade will break the custom code and that the refactor will sidetrack us for some time. This is a task in our backlog but there are just too many other tasks that are taking priority at this point.

All that said, do you know of others that have upgraded their ASP.NET zero projects to later versions of datatables and if so, how much of a hassle it was? I'm sure it's a longshot that you do but worth asking :-)

Thanks again for opening up the trial for us. We love datatables and appreciate all the work you guys have put into this project.
