Can I use Datatables 2.2 without Editor 2.4?

Hi, I see there are new versions of DT and Editor. I tried creating a download without Editor (no approval to extend the Editor license yet) as I wanted to see the automatic column adjustment. But when I plug in the new versions I get "Editor is not a constructor" in my javascript console. Am I doing this wrong or can I not mix an older version of Editor with the latest Datatables?

The 2.3 version of Editor was updated to support DT 2. Earlier versions won't work with DT 2.
