SearchPane extension Datatable 3

Is searchpanes still supported in datatable 3 ? it seem all of it's content, documentation, example have been removed from the website. i'm actively using it and i still need to see proper implementation and documentation

Not yet. It will be coming, but SearchPanes and StateRestore are both going to be rewritten and then released for DataTables 3.

If you are using either extension, continue using DataTables 2 for the moment.

I must confess I hadn't thought about the existing documentation for it - my apologies. I'll have a think about how I can make that available other than the source xml.

I mentioned SearchPanes and StateRestore at the end of this announcement blog post. Once the dust settles from the release and I catch my breath, they will be the next thing on the agenda!

Please don't take this as a rush or a nudge... I'm just planning to further develop my project, so I thought I'd ask.
Is there any news or planned beta release date for the SearchPanes and StateRestore plugins?

StateRestore is nearing completion. SearchPanes is likely still a little bit of time away I'm afraid. I'm planning to take a little time next week to plan out the next set of actions and when SearchPanes will be updated. It isn't actually just an update, but rather a complete rewrite that I'm planning, which is why it is taking a bit longer.

There isn't a quick fix for that at the moment as they both depend on jQuery and some of the DataTables internals that they use have changed. StateRestore is very close now - just one more large feature to finish .
