Editable/Jeditable won't accept uppercase?

Hi,

I've created a table with ajax data which can be modified inline. Everythings seems to be working fine.

Except when I enter an uppercase character in the inline edit field. I get an javascript popup, with the entered text in lower case. The database is not updated.

I have no clue where I have to look to fix this problem.

I'm also using "jQuery Validation Plugin 1.9.0" to do a validation for an other field. Perhaps this plugin is interfering with something?
