Problem Exporting A Table With Buttons In It

Exporting my table as a PDF or Excel Worksheet works great; however, I'm trying to export a table with buttons in it and the button doesn't export (neither does the text on the button, which is what we really need). Is there a way to get this working that you know of? We use the buttons for switching back and forth between yes/no options, but we need to be able to print "yes" or "no" for that column.

Do you suggest using links instead? I'm sure I could get it working with links, but buttons would be easier for the end user to understand. Thanks for your help.

This presumably is with TableTools? By default TableTools will strip HTML from the output (since it is virtually meaningless in the context that the data is going to), but you can use the fnCellRender ( http://datatables.net/extras/tabletools/button_options#fnCellRender ) to specify your own string handling function for the output if you want, including parsing of HTML (in this case buttons).
