Sorting formatted number (currency)

Thanks for your great plugin.
I want to know how to sorting column contains formatted number (currency) with thousand separator (.) and decimal ? anyone pls share your knowledge

Hi,

There is a currency sorting plug-in available on the plug-ins page: http://www.datatables.net/plug-ins , and example of type detection and custom sorting here: http://datatables.net/examples/example_sorting_plugin.html .

You might have to modify the currency sorting plug-in slightly to match your exact requirements (for example to deal with the thousand separator).
