Excel export without Flash?

Is there a way to export the table results to excel without using Flash?

Yes, those three methods still apply. Any of them could be implemented - currently only option 3 from my original list is directly implemented in TableTools, while 2 can be done with plug-ins and 1 could be edited into the core.
