How to set cell format (text instead of general) in excel (exporting by tabletools)?

    Currently you can't - the Excel export is really just a tab separated UTF16-LE file. It is not a true Excel file, and thus cannot contain formatting. Adding this ability is something that I want to look at in future, as time permits.
