Using "Search_Length" outside the Datatables Table

Hi @ all

I'd like to use the "Search_Length" / "Results per page" Dropdown Menu Outside the Datatables Table.
I trying it with sDom, but it does not work.

I'd like to use it on the top of the page at the my "#search_box" div.
I hope anyone can help me : )

Have a look at this plug-in - http://datatables.net/plug-ins/api#fnLengthChange - it allows you to change the paging length from any control you want.
