id is blank when adding data using serverside

hello
my id is coming blank when i add data..
following is what my firebug is showing me

Parametersapplication/x-www-form-urlencoded
browser add
engine add
grade X
id
platforms add
version 1.7

Source
id=&engine=add&browser=add&platforms=add&version=1.7&grade=X

although the data is added and displayed in the table correctly why is it that id is not showing on firebug
i am using oracle database where i am applying autoincrement on my id.
