I'd like to apologise to everyone for the long down time that DataTables.net (and my other sites) suffered from over this last week. I've been caught up in the issues that VAServ had following the successful and massively brutal attack on their network ( http://www.theregister.co.uk/2009/06/08/webhost_attack/ ).

Fortunately I appear to have been one of the lucky ones suffering for only downtime, and no data loss (backups are great - but always a pain to get going again and always slightly out of date).

I'd like to say thanks and much kudos to Rus and the guys at VAServ for their exceptionally hard work getting server's back online. They've done a bang up job under very difficult circumstances, and have had to tolerate a lot. So thank you.

And now - back to programming :-)
