Hello,
there is a compatibility matrix with Datatables core for the extensios?

    Hi,

    If you need to download for DataTables 1, you can find a "builder" for it here. It currently only shows the output for the CDN, but the versions are there if you wanted to install with npm.

    Worth noting that it shows the latest versions that are compatible with the latest DataTables 1.x, which is 1.13.11.

    For compatibility with 1.10.x, you'd need to look back at the release dates - 1.10.25 was released in June 2021. Needless to say, it is no longer supported.

    What specifically is it that you want to add?

    Thanks Allan,
    (in a dead branch...) I need to update these components:
    * DataTables 1.10.18
    * Buttons 1.7.1
    * ColReorder 1.5.0
    * Responsive 2.2.2
    to the latest compatible versions.

    However, since the current ones are quite outdated, I am unable to estimate the effort required for the task.
    And thanks to the link you shared for the version 1 builder, my question is: do these versions introduce any breaking changes?
    * DataTables 1.3.11
    * Buttons 2.4.2
    * ColReorder 1.7.0
    * Responsive 2.5.0

    Since they are minor version bumps they shouldn't. However, it depends on your use of the software. For example, if you had some custom rendering for the headers, then that might be impacted by the update.

    You could update to the latest patch release of each - e.g. Buttons 1.7.1 is the latest patch for 1.x, ColReorder could go to 1.5.6 etc.

    Or do you have a specific reason / version to upgrade to?

    Each version will link to the release notes.

    If you are updating from 1.10.18, what are you planning to update to is my question? I'd suggest updating to the current release, since that is the supported version, but I'm guessing you want to stay on v1.x to minimise any disruption?
