MSIE9 does not load CDN js and css over https - while other browsers do

Hello,

has anybody else noticed the problem, that the following URLs:

https://ajax.aspnetcdn.com/ajax/jquery.dataTables/1.9.1/css/jquery.dataTables_themeroller.css
https://ajax.aspnetcdn.com/ajax/jquery.dataTables/1.9.1/jquery.dataTables.min.js

can not be loaded by MS Internet Explorer 9 (Win 7 / 64 bit)?

MSIE9 just displays "aborted" in the dev. console and "page not found".

All other browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Opera) work ok for me.

Is anything wrong with the CDN site certificate maybe? I've looked at it and couldn't notice anything

Regards
Alex

    Hi Alex,

I've just set up a demo page to load DataTables 1.9.1 over https from the CDN and it seems to work not problem in IE9 (Win7) for me: http://datatables.net/media/blog/cdn/https.html . Does it work for you?

I'd hope not given that its a Microsoft CDN!

Hmm really strange, maybe my (corporate) laptop is locked in some way?

Perhaps, I don't know. Does my link work for you?

Hi Allan, thanks for looking at my problem, very nice of you :-)

No, your link (and my https links above) do not work and I tried another corporate PC too.

I think it is somehow specific to my employer then.

Hello again, I've finally booted up my private PC and the issue is not there, so sorry for bothering.

Still interesting to know, that a 10000 employees corp. would lock the https CDN for some reasons....

No problem at all - thanks for following it up. If you do find out what is happening, I'd be most interested in knowing :-)

    Regards,
    Allan
