On the top of the table it show me the symbol ">" as many times as i have records.

Something in your code is doing it, so it would help to see it.
Definitive to my code. I dont see the symbols on html but just when i go to the elements of the code on Google Chome. The symbols are just above the of the begining of the smarttable
You would need to link us to the page as @ignignokt says. We can't debug your code without being able to see it!
