scroll doesn't work when datable inside jquery ui dialog

When datatable is embedded inside of jquery ui dialog, scroll (regular or infinite) doesn't work. The only scroll bars that show up are those from the dialog itself which of course scrolls the whole table with headers. There are number of questions about this on the Web, but seems to be there is no answer. Any help would be appreciated.
