Don't know if there is a solution to this, been searching for half a day now, but when table-layout:fixed is applied to the html table used in a datatable initialization, IE7 seems to miscalculate the width of the table so that the search box and the pager buttons do not right align. It works just fine in FireFox 8.0.1... Tried various CSS solutions but no go. The columns are given specific pixel widths in the init in the aoColumnDefs array...

    http://caniuse.com/#search=table-layout - appears that table-layout: fixed isn't supported in IE7.
