Display only certain columns by default, with ability to show more

I'm interested in returning a table that has 12 columns, but on the initial default display, I'd like to only show 4 of the columns. How do I display just those 4 by default but give the user the ability to add additional columns?

Use bVisible to hide columns and the ColVis extra to give the user column visibility control.
