Parameter to stop AutoScroll on refresh?

I have looked and searched google/datatables for hours and I have found many places where people have asked for this but no real answer.

In the latest datatables if you refresh a table it automatically scrolls to top of page, which I am sure is great for some people, but it is a nightmare for the current page I have as the table is half way down the page. I want the table to update but I don't want it to go to the top every time. Is there a simple function to stop this?

please advise,

jason

    Hi Jason,

I don't quite understand I'm afraid. Scrolling of the browser window, or the DataTables scrolling? Update a single cell, or reload the whole table? Server-side processing, scrolling? If you be very useful if you could just link me to the page.

I believe it was my issue on how I was refreshing the table. Apparently if you reload the table via jquery dom it throws the page back to the top every time. This is something I have to do so I had to use scrollTop to stop it from scrolling up on refresh.

    Can close this one! Thanks
