Hi,
im new here and my english is not very good.
First, this Software is great, but what i want to ask is:
Is there a posibility to search in the first row only, and not in the others,
so the sorting will only be done by the first row?

thanks, Marcus

First row, or the first column? You can use bSortable to disable sorting on columns, but there is no sorting horizontally (rows).

    Hi,

i mean from top to bottom, so it will be the column, sorry :-)
Aktually the search searches in all columns and it sorts the rows like the searchstring apears.
But the search should only search in the first column, not in the others, and then sort by the first column. I dont need the rows as result where the searchstring is NOT in the first column.
I hope you know what I mean?

I will try to play with bSortable, but I really do not understand it because of my bad english

    Thanks, Marcus

    Hey Catweazle,

If I understand it right, you want the auto search function to just consider the first column?!
If so, I think you need to set bSortable and bSearchable to false on all columns besides the one you want the results from.
