Feature Request: Ajax Deep Linking. Perhaps a plugin using http://www.asual.com/jquery/address/

Enable browser back and forward buttons, bookmarking, and copying the URL to share link to exact page, filter, sort.

Probably not something that will be put into DataTables core (this is the first request for this feature - as far as I can recall!), but it sounds like an ideal suggestion for a plug-in. HTML5 history is probably a nice way to do this.
