Setting fixed width for multiple datatales

I'm trying to display multiple data tables in one page at the same time.
All the tables have differrent number of columns.
I want to make a fixed width for all the tables in the same page,
and provide scroll bar for tables where the number of columns are more.

I tried several options in data table API as below

var oTable = $('.dataTable').dataTable({
"bAutoWidth" : false,
"sScrollXInner": "100%",
"sScrollX" : "80%"
});

But still the widths of the multiple data tables are not coming same.

Also I tried below in the CSS, but I could not got any success.
table.display {
margin: 0 auto;
clear: both;
width: 100%;
overflow:scroll
}

I'd request for help here.
