Ghost Classes on TD elements

The javascript seems to be adding classes to my TD elements. How do I change this? Is this a known bug? Thanks,

DataTables takes a couple of shortcuts with the cell class names in order to make things faster (much faster in the case of the cell classes). So yes, it could be considered a bug, but not one that will be fixed, since fixing it would introduce a large performance hit.

Having said that, if you set bSortClasses :false that will stop it happening - you'll just loose the sorted column highlighting.
