Display table like Inbox.

Hi,
I am new to datatables plugin. The plug in looks great and I am planning to use it in simple tables already. I have a inbox type table. Meaning.. A table is displayed on top. Clicking the record, should display it's details below. Or The table should be have inline collapsible sections which displays it's content.

Is this possible using datatables. I checked their examples and there is nothing that could demonstrate what I expect.
