I'm evaluating DataTables and I'm trying to find a good "cut off" of the number of cells that can be reasonably processed before switching over to server side processing? Looks likes there are also the sortingClasses options that improves performance. Is there any info on how much this would help?

    Hi Logan,

    This is addressed in one of the FAQs: http://datatables.net/faqs#speed .

    The browser you are using also has a significant impact on speed. Obviously Chrome is going to be about 10000 times faster than IE6...
