Width settings ignored in IE9
Width settings ignored in IE9
I've been trying to create a scrolling table with fixed header. I could do this in Firefox without any jQuery, but it wouldn't work in IE9.
I'm new to DataTables, but I've manged to get it working as I want it in Firefox. See http://www.holidaymullandiona.com/test/users-04.php
It also works in IE9, but the table expands to the full width of the window, whereas it should be much narrower (the width is set by setting widths for and because the number of columns can vary). There's no problem with width in IE if DataTables is commented out, so I'm assuming that something is over-riding my settings, but only in IE ? Data Tables debugger: afayoz
I'm continuing to experiment with other setting options in the hope of working it out.
DataTables seems like a Steam Hammer to crack a nut, particularly as I'm not using many of the options, but if it gets round difficulties with IE9 I suppose it's the way to go.
