Colspan on table rows nor supported

Hi to all
Compliments to this great add on, I'm using from 3 days with a lot of satifsaction.
I've read limitations about using colspan on TD rows in the table.
For me and my data is a a big limitation because I need to use colspan on TD table rows to better format my tables.
How can I workaround this problem ?

There is no workaround. As you have read else where, this is not a feature that is supported in DataTables as it would massively increase complexity.
