Ignited Datatables wrong total of entries

I'm using ignited datatables (server side) and the total number of records displayed is always too much.
It says "Showing 1-25 of 14,000 entries" but actually there are only 480 entries!
There are many blank pages after the 480 entries.

Very bizarre, can anyone help?

Ignited Datatables is not part of the DataTables project. I'd suggest posting an issue on that project's bug tracer (I think its on Github is it?)

Thanks numberone, sorry for the delay in replying, it's still got the problem.
I'm not using the codeignitor version, I'm using version 0.7a PHP library.
