Yes! I'm planning for it to go into beta by the end of next week (although I can't promise the it will...), and release in January. It is possible that won't happen, but I intend to do all I can to make it happen.

I sure hope the FixedColumn is solvable with something simple. That plug-in doesn't detract from the overall greatness of DataTables. Nice work, and I hope you can find the problem soon.
