keep the pagination buttons from moving.

So I have datatables set up and styled to my application, only problem I cant figure out is how to keep the buttons "next" and "Previous" from moving when I enter something into the search box. I got the table to stay a specific size, that doesn't change when searches are ran, but the buttons move up and down as if the table did resize. Any ideas how to make this not happen? Like get them to stay put? I've tried the css positioning applications but none of them worked.
