How can I set the default value of my Show XX entries dropdown?

    iDisplayLength is the value you need to change.
    The documentation is kind of confusing on this option.

    Hi MrBaseball34,

    Sorry for the confusion - how do you think it could be improved (all feedback on DataTables itself and the documentation is very welcome!)? I am going to be adding a new option to be able to provide an array of numbers for the length menu in the next release - although it can be configured using the language variables just now. However, iDisplayLength is the correct property that you are looking for.
