StateChange event is fired twice when column is selected or deselected using ColVis plugin

I am using ColVis plugin 1.1.0 with DataTables 1.10.0. Whenever I show or hide a column using column menu popup, the stateChange event is getting fired twice, one with current bVisible and next with the changed value. We have a listener attached to this event so that we can persist column visibility in our database. But this is causing issues. Have anyone seen this issue? How to fix/workaround this?
