Incorrect parsing for Content-type: application/xhtml+xml

When the html response has Content-type: application/xhtml+xml, table data is not properly processed.

An html response with Content-type: application/html works correctly. Switching the Content-type to applicaiton/xhtml+xml changes the case of page elements (e.g. "TR" for application/html and "tr" for application/xhtml+xml). Could the processing of page elements be made to work insensitive of case?

Have you tried the 1.7 betas? I believe that this issue has been address with the 1.7 series (although it is still in beta!). A list of new features can be found here: http://datatables.net/new/1.7

Just tested the beta, and it appears to work correctly. Thanks for the recommendation.
