Hello, i fixed my first column for scrolling but now my <td id="tech-$uid"> is not being recognized as I use that id=tech-$uid for my hover jquery function to change cell bgcolor... can someone guide me on how to disable overriding of my id or tell me how to get around this issue? thanks!

nevermind.. i figured out a way to get my hover working using the .class
