Sorting tables with nulls

Sorry to ask this as I know it has been asked before but I can't seem to find the answer, and previous requests are quite old, so the version may have been updated or new people joined the forum.

My problem is I need to sort a table where the column may have nulls. In fact it will definitely have many nulls! I would like the cells with data to be at the top whether asc or desc as chosen by the user and for all the nulls to be at the bottom of the table. Again apologies as I am completely new to this and getting a bit lost.

You can write your own Sorting plug-ins if none of in the list helps.
