Search in HTML Tags with different data sources

According to the reference it is possible to search through HTML-tags that are inside table cells (type: string). When the data-source is a HTML-table everything works as expected. If the source of data (same information) is a javascript object the search doesn't find the words inside the tag. Latest version of jquery and DT is used (1.10.6).

This little example shows that odd behaviour:

Is this a bug or a feature. I hope it is a bug that can be corrected :-)
