Responsive not working inside a sliding DIV (Leaflet)

I am working on a Datatables + Leaflet integration. I show the Datatables inside a sliding DIV. The responsive table works correctly alone:

but not inside the sliding DIV:

I have tried cleaning out and seeing CSS conflicts, but couldn't match anything. Any pointers? Thanks!
