Required Only Searching not Filtering

Kindly request to give API code for making global search with highlight with making filtering on data.
i.e. All rows should be shown with search to be highlighted.
For ex. If data table has total 500 rows and after entering search text it should still to be continued to show 500 rows with search text to be pointed & highlighted. Like Ctrl+F of browser.
