When using TableTools is there a way to make the print open in a new page?

I'm using TableTools and would like to add something like target_blank to the link for the print button so that the print page opens in a new tab/window. Is there a way to do this? Also is there a way to make the data from the print page go to another page? My problem is when i press the print button it keeps the formatting from the current page which has a large sidebar area thats just blank. I'd like to send it to just a blank page so that the table can stretch all the way across the page for printing. Thanks!
