Excel advanced date filters

Hi, I'm new to Datatables...

I am really enjoying all the functionalities that I am implementing.

However, I really need to implement a filter for a date column in my table that works just like excel, where it groups years, months, and days....

Is this possible in Datatables? If so, please tell me how or lead me in the right direction.
