Force column to show full width for responsive

I have the following table:

"column1 | column2 | column3"

where: column1 is a small icon, column2 is a search result value and column3 is a number with 3 digits.

For Mobile view:
On a small screen the datatable shows | column1 | only if the search value in | column2 | has too many characters. Of corse the user can expand the table but showing just the icons makes the table useless. Is there a way to force the datatable to show | column2 | even it is larger then the mobile screen? (but having the expand effect anyway).

Are you deliberately trying to trick us by using the word "row" when you mean column? Or am I missing something :)
