How to force the "search:" text to the left of the search field

Does anyone know how to do this? The text that says "search:" next to the search field is normally aligned to the left of the search box itself, but when the browser window is resized, it moves to above the search field.

Is it possible to force the text to always remain to the left of the search field regardless of browser window size?
The reason is that I'm trying to embed my datatable into another HTML page (wordpress).

I've scoured the CSS and can't find where this is. Many thanks.
